REVIEW: Fairness and Flawless- Sgt. at Arms

Hello everyone!

As promised in my initial review on my Fairness and Flawless purchases, I am now making my review on their Sgt. at Arms whitening deospray.

I bought this one out of my extreme desire to lighten my darkened underarm due to pregnancy. I am getting really conscious of my dark underarms after I noticed the dark lines appearing during my 6th month of pregnancy. I read a lot of positive feedback about this Deo on their Facebook page so I was immediately convinced to try this out. Anyway, it was super affordable at just 125PhP.

This Deo promises to be a whitening deospray, hair retardant, prevent chicken skin and is an anti-perspirant in one.

SCENT:

As I have said in my initial review, I really don't like the scent of this deo since it smells like alcohol. But after consuming half the bottle, I'm already used to it. Hehe.

EXPERIENCE:

My expectations are high for this one considering the vast amount of positive reviews I have read. So, after using this one for three days, I was shocked as I immediately noticed a slight improvement on my UA. I noticed that the darkened area has lightened a bit. After a week or so of using this Deo, I noticed that some dark areas are already lighter and is gradually improving. I cannot attest to the anti-chicken skin property since I don't have such and I cannot agree to its hair retardant property though.

Will I buy again? Definitely. I am actually planning to purchase the Reveal set for better result. :)

REVIEW: My BIO-OIL Experience

Pregnancy brings a lot of changes-- physically and emotionally. From the first time I discovered about my little one growing inside me, I became cautious of everything I use for it may affect how my little angel develops. And one of the most common fears among women during pregnancy is suffering from stretchmarks. 

Before using anything to prevent such, I did my own careful research about different products to prevent or at least minimize it's appearance until I found BIO-OIL. After reading great number of positive reviews, I have decided to use it for my growing tummy.

This promises a lot of benefits in a single product.

 Ingredients and Direction for use:

I love how it is easily absorbed by the skin and how calming the scent is. Another thing I love is  how a 60ml bottle can  be used for long period of time. A bottle lasted me a whole trimester.

I started using this oil since my third month of pregnancy and luckily until this time, which is my seventh month, there no hint of any stretchmark. As in! No stretchmark at all! I'm a lucky one indeed. :). Another good thing I noticed is it really does helps improve the appearance of your scars. I have scattered scars from my belly to my legs due to previous rashes and I noticed that the scars on my belly lightened way much than those on my legs (I don't apply this oil on my legs).

Will I buy again? Definitely! I swear by this product and I will continue using it until my little baby meets the world. :). 

REVIEW: Diamond- Orange Peel and L- Glutathione Face and Body Bar

Admit it. We all have this one product that we cannot let go of no matter how many other products we have tried. For me, one of the products I can't let go of is this soap. Even if I have tried and fairly liked some of the hundreds soaps I have tried, I find my myself coming back to this one. I initially tried this one out of curiosity way back 2013 and until now, I am still an avid fan of this soap.

This soap is manufactured by Harmony and Wellness. The back portion of the box contains a brief description as to what the product can do.

It also contains the list of ingredients and directions on how to use this soap.

Another thing I love about this is they have the Manufacturing and Expiry Date stamped on the box.

The product is actually bigger in size as compared to other soaps in the market.

What I love most about this soap is the scent. It is actually an overpowering smell of orange. I love how fresh the scent is. If only I could make a way for you to sniff its scent, I would gladly do so. Another thing I love is how effective it really is in terms of exfoliation. After 3-4 washes, I already noticed a mild micropeeling hence, using a lotion after this is a must.

As for its whitening and refining claim, I do agree that it made my skin lighter and more refined after one bar. My hubby even asked me "Pumuputi ka ah, anong ginagamit mo?" O diba bongga? One bar pa lang yan. So, before I was able to consume the whole bar, I immediately bought another one. This soap really never failed to meet my expectations.

Reminder though, to maximize use of this soap, I cut it into pieces and always place this in a dry soap dish since it melts easily.

You can buy this one almost anywhere! It is available in all leading drugstores and supermarket nationwide.

So, for those who haven't tried this soap, I suggest you should dash to your nearest drugstore or supermarket. I swear, you will never regret trying this one out.

REVIEW: BN Whitening Shoppe- Day Gel with SPF60

Hello! :)

Today, I will be making a review on one of the best sunscreen I have ever tried. This day gel is from BN (Bianca Naranjo) Whitening Shoppe. The shop is actually Davao based however, they have some franchisees in different areas to cater customers.

What I love about this day gel is it contains high SPF content without leaving a tint on your face. Perfect for those who are not comfortable with wearing tinted creams/ moisturizers. It also caters men who wanted to use sunscreen since it will not leave any tint on your face.

Content: 30ml

 The product is contained in a plastic pump bottle. Nothing special actually. It has a sticker containing the product name and description, nothing more.

You can easily control the amount of products to be dispensed.

What I don't actually like is that they didn't put the list of ingredients and the manufacturing and expiry date.

Here's what the product actually look like. It actually is  transparent and goes watery when applied. It's like wearing nothing at all. Perfect for those days when you feel like going out bare faced but doesn't want to compromise on using sunscreen.

The only cons I can think of in using this product is that it will not conceal any imperfection since it is trasparent when applied. Another is that it is not suitable for our dry skinned fellas.

My Lazada Shopping Experience

Last 03 December 2015, I saw this really cute baby cradle currently on sale at Lazada so I immediately ordered one. Since I don't want to pay PhP99 for a single item, I also added a Set of 7 infant socks. I checked out and opted for cash on delivery mode of payment.

Lazada immediately sent me an order confirmation and after a day, they also sent me my tracking numbers. The expected date of delivery of my orders  is within 5-7 days. I can say that shopping at Lazada was indeed convenient.

The annoying part occurred during the delivery of my orders. My orders was shipped via LBC Courier. I consistently traced my orders from the shipping date until the it was received at Tuguegarao Delivery hub.

I was really excited to receive my baby's cradle however, when I traced my orders on 10 December 2015, it displayed "Delivery Failed". Wow! I did not receive communication of any sort from the courier so, paano magiging delivery failed agad?

I sent an e-mail to LBC Customer Care immediately to ask what happened and they didn't try to contact my given number. This is their reply:

So, I was relieved knowing that they will "coordinate" with our branch and will immediately inform me of any feedback.

Few days have passed, no feedback was received. So again, I traced the status of my orders at their Track and Trace site and was pissed to find this:

Yung totoo? Walang effort talaga para maideliver?

I asked one of my hubby's colleague who is working at one of LBC Tuguegarao branches and he said hindi daw maideliver kasi madami daw ang deliveries at iisa ang rider.  

I think their reason is highly unacceptable since they can just inform me of their situation and ask whether I would be willing to just pick-up na lang sa branches nila. 

Anyway, they should have informed Lazada right away that they cannot accommodate their deliveries para hindi na lang sana magaccept ang Lazada.

Such a waste of time waiting and browsing kung courier pala sisira.

Sana next time maayos na nila yan.

REVIEW: Fairness and Flawless- L'amour Love Soap Challenge Accepted

Introducing the newest addition to their skincare line-- the L'amour Love Soap which based on their FB page, promises an instant white result. After viewing some of their client’s testimonials, I became curious as to whether soap can really give me that instant white effect after just one wash.

I immediately bought one to prove to myself the promised instant white effect.

Fairness and Flawless L'mour Love Soap Challenge- Accepted! Now, let's see the major promise of this soap.

Before wash, During and After wash

After soaking the soap for 6 minutes, I must say that there was no drastic instant whitening effect as compared to the testimonials posted on their FB page. However, I noticed that my skin looked more refined and pinkish.

Here is the side by side comparison so you can look closer.

After using this soap for three consecutive days, I did notice its micropeeling effect. As in micropeel galore. J. Though I haven’t noticed much of the instant white effect, I still wanted to give this one a try. Who knew? Maybe the whitening effect will be achieved after long term use.

UPDATE ALERT!

I consumed this soap in a matter of 3 weeks. I noticed that it did lightened my skin and made it look glowing and radiant. I totally swear by the skin whitening claim of this soap. However, the downside is that I noticed that if I use this soap continuously, I would develop rashes.

I would love to use this soap religiously if only I don't develop rashes while using this. I still prefer the GKMS variant though.

INITIAL REVIEW: Fairness and Flawless- L'amour Love Soap, GKMS and Sgt. at Arms

 I bet almost all of you is familiar with the brand Fairness and Flawless. They are one of the most famous skincare brands online. They have plenty of products from whitening to slimming to anti-aging.

I already tried some of their products and I was quite impressed. Plus, the products are really affordable. So without further ado, let’s start my initial review on my Fairness and Flawless purchases.

I bought 2 of their soap- L’amour Love Soap and GKMS (Gluta, Kojic, Milk Soap) and their most raved deo- Sgt. At Arms.

  

L’amour Instant Whitening Love Soap

They also have the Manufacturing and Expiration date on the box. Big plus!

The box is really posh plus the soap itself is wrapped in a plastic.

Upon opening the soap, its scent immediately reminded me of a grape flavored jelly ace.

Ooopps! The expiry date is missing.

I purchased this soap before and I really love how mild it is but at the same time, it is able to remove dead skins. I really love the creamy-milk scent of this soap for  it really is addicting!

The Soaps doesn’t melt easily unlike other soaps offered online.

Sgt. At Arms

The product is contained in a small plastic spray bottle.

After shaking the product, you will notice an oil like bubbles.

As for the scent, hmm..  I cannot actually describe the scent. It has strong alcohol-like scent, which I don’t actually like.
