REVIEW: Mesha Organics- Tomato Puree

Have you been dreaming of that flawless, glowing, pore less and pinkish skin? I know everyone love to achieve those. So, in my search for that product which may grant my wish, I stumbled upon Mesha Organics Tomato Puree. My main goal actually was to achieve that naturally blushed look. Alam nyo naman hindi ako marunong mag-apply ng blush so dapat natural na pinkish cheeks ako. Haha. So, I immediately bought this one since it was on sale and because it promises that pinkish glow that I was looking for.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

A healthy water based serum packed with organic tomato puree and other botanical extracts. Minimizes pores, Controls oil production and breakouts. Gives skin a healthy pinkish glow.

INGREDIENTS:

Puree tomato juice extract, witch hazel, neem extract, vitamin c &e, collagen and other fruit enzymes

PACKAGING:

The product is contained in a plastic pump bottle. You can easily control the amount of the products to be dispensed. The only cons I saw was the lack of Expiration date.

SCENT:

It actually has a strong syrupy scent. It kinda reminds me of strawberry kids syrup. Some may not like the scent of the product however, for some, they may get used to it.

Here is a photo of the product when applied. It doesn't stain or leave any residue. It is easily absorbed as well.

EXPERIENCE:

I noticed that this product is kinda sticky when applied but it easily dries off after few minutes. I have been using this product for 1 week already and I received lots of positive comments about my facial skin. Though I haven't noticed any changes on my skin personally, some of my acquaintances said that I looked blooming and younger.  On my third day of using this serum, I noticed that my cheeks has a pinkish glow however, the next day when I checked myself again, it was gone. :(. On the breakout control properties, I don't have an acne prone skin hence, I cannot say that it can actually control breakout. Overall, I love using this tomato puree as an addition to my daytime beauty regimen. I will post an update once I consumed the whole bottle.

REVIEW: Dove- Oxygen and Nourishment Shampoo

Hi everyone!

I have been making skincare reviews since I have created my blog so, as a break from skincare reviews, I will be reviewing this shampoo from Dove.

A lot of us trusts this brand. Why not? All their products are tested and proven effective. I myself trusts this brand so much however, since I recently switched to  organic skincare after knowing I was pregnant, I only have this brand in my haircare.

SCENT:

The product is actually cucumber scented. Very refreshing indeed. It reminds me of

Cucumber Melon Body Spray from Bath and Body works. I bought the shampoo but after falling in love with the scent, I have decided to buy the conditioner as well. :)

This is what the shampoo looks like. It is transparent but it lathers really well.

EXPERIENCE:

I have a super unruly and hard to maintain hair but after using this product for a couple of weeks, I noticed that it did made my hair softer and more manageable. I can actually say that it is indeed effective in treating dry and damaged hair. I cannot attest to its "adding volume" benefit though. Another thing I noticed during use of this product is that it did not cause me to have dandruff and it actually lessened my hairfall.

All in all, I love using this product. I did not notice any cons during my use.

REVIEW: Fairness and Flawless- GKMS (Gluta Kojic and Milk Soap)

I have posted an initial review of this soap and after consuming a whole bar, I am now ready to share my thoughts on this.

SCENT:

As I have said before, what made me repurchase this soap was its scent- I am really obsessed with milk scented beauty products (or maybe pinaglilihian ko lang ang amoy ng gatas. Haha). Seriously though, the smell is addicting and super yummy!

PACKAGING:
The soap is contained in a box just like other commercial soaps and upon opening it, the soap itself is sealed in a clear plastic.

LONGEVITY:
This soap lasted me a whole month. I actually noticed that all FnF's Soaps I have tried lasts a month. And for 100g of soap, this is actually long lasting.

EXPERIENCE:
My soaking time is actually around 2-3 minutes only since I have a slightly sensitive skin. I actually noticed a slight micropeeling effect upon using this soap and have a tendency to leave your skin dry so applying a lotion or body cream is a must. As for the whitening effect, I haven't seen any changes on my skin tone yet. However, I noticed that my skin looked healthier during use,

INITIAL REVIEW: Mesha Organics- Acai Berry Soap, Tritone Soap, Tomato Puree

First post for the year 2016! Yay! 😆🎉

I have been in love with organic products lately for I saw better results as compared to non-organic products I tried.  So, I searched a lot about different brands of organic skincare offered here in the Philippines and I stumbled upon a lot of organic skincare! Sobrang dami na pala nag-ooffer ng organic skincare! I was contemplating on what to buy first since everyone looks promising talaga! 

I read a lot of good feedbacks from other bloggers about this brand so I immediately searched for them in my Instagram. Luckily, I found them at the right time since they are on SALE! Hahaha. 😆

I have read a lot of positive feedbacks about their Acai Berry Soap, Tritone Soap and Tomato Puree so I immediately ordered some. But, there is something I have to share. I will not end this post without sharing to everyone how great and understanding the seller is. When you place your orders, you must settle your payment within a day otherwise you will be considered as a bogus buyer. I placed my orders last 17 December 2015 but I was not able to settle my payment on time since we encountered flash flood. I sent a text to the seller informing her of our situation and she immediately understood. Indeed, shopping with them is a breeze. 

As to the products I bought, I will make a separate detailed review on each of them. So, stay tuned! ❤️

REVIEW: Fairness and Flawless- Sgt. at Arms

Hello everyone!

As promised in my initial review on my Fairness and Flawless purchases, I am now making my review on their Sgt. at Arms whitening deospray. 

SRP: 125PhP

Content: 50ml

I bought this one out of my extreme desire to lighten my darkened underarm due to pregnancy. I am getting really conscious of my dark underarms after I noticed the dark lines appearing during my 6th month of pregnancy. I read a lot of positive feedback about this Deo on their Facebook page so I was immediately convinced to try this out. Anyway, it was super affordable at just 125PhP.

This Deo promises to be a whitening deospray, hair retardant, prevent chicken skin and is an anti-perspirant in one.

SCENT:

As I have said in my initial review, I really don't like the scent of this deo since it smells like alcohol. But after consuming half the bottle, I'm already used to it. Hehe.

EXPERIENCE:

My expectations are high for this one considering the vast amount of positive reviews I have read. So, after using this one for three days, I was shocked as I immediately noticed a slight improvement on my UA. I noticed that the darkened area has lightened a bit. After a week or so of using this Deo, I noticed that some dark areas are already lighter and is gradually improving. I cannot attest to the anti-chicken skin property since I don't have such and I cannot agree to its hair retardant property though.

Will I buy again? Definitely. I am actually planning to purchase the Reveal set for better result. :)

REVIEW: My BIO-OIL Experience

Pregnancy brings a lot of changes-- physically and emotionally. From the first time I discovered about my little one growing inside me, I became cautious of everything I use for it may affect how my little angel develops. And one of the most common fears among women during pregnancy is suffering from stretchmarks. 

Before using anything to prevent such, I did my own careful research about different products to prevent or at least minimize it's appearance until I found BIO-OIL. After reading great number of positive reviews, I have decided to use it for my growing tummy.

This promises a lot of benefits in a single product.

 Ingredients and Direction for use:

I love how it is easily absorbed by the skin and how calming the scent is. Another thing I love is  how a 60ml bottle can  be used for long period of time. A bottle lasted me a whole trimester.

I started using this oil since my third month of pregnancy and luckily until this time, which is my seventh month, there no hint of any stretchmark. As in! No stretchmark at all! I'm a lucky one indeed. :). Another good thing I noticed is it really does helps improve the appearance of your scars. I have scattered scars from my belly to my legs due to previous rashes and I noticed that the scars on my belly lightened way much than those on my legs (I don't apply this oil on my legs).

Will I buy again? Definitely! I swear by this product and I will continue using it until my little baby meets the world. :).
